Bungee Training is For Everyone

One of the most remarkable aspects of the ASTRO-DURANCE® Bungee Fitness systems is its versatility.   When I walked into Patty’s studio it was like a whole new world had presented itself to me.  Like many people my age, I have never really worked out in the traditional sense.  My exercise consisted of walking, gardening, swimming, and when I was younger squash, tennis and horseback riding. Just living seemed to work for me……

It was a real surprise to me that workouts in a formal sense could be fun. I had always been put off by that phrase that is so gleefully touted by the ultrafit who like to flex their muscles and show their “hottie” bodies.  What phrase you may ask?  Well…“No pain – No gain”.  Quite truthfully – I just don’t like pain…….. I would rather have no gain than ANY pain.  Sorry but that is how I feel!

Imagine my surprise when one of the first things Patty said to me was “You must tell me immediately if you feel ANY pain.  We will stop – you are not to continue if it hurts."  Well I can honestly say that she lived up to that commitment.

I met so many interesting people on my journey to reclaiming a quality of life.  Everyone seemed to have a different reason for using ASTRO-DURANCE® Bungee Fitness systems.  From young athletes eyeing future Olympic careers to fitness buffs wanting to “up” the impact of their workout schedules.  From moms getting back into shape after giving birth to people who needed to drop weight.  From people with hip, back or knee problems to the more severely challenged.  From teenagers to ultra seniors - Yes it is truly for everyone.


That’s the beauty - The bungee workout can be adapted for dance, acrobatics, yoga, rehabilitation, weight loss, bodybuilding, strength training... the list is endless.  But, of course, the most important aspect is that it is FUN FUN FUN!

Can you see yourself on a bungee? I can…… and if I can do it – so can you!
