After a month I was finally able to achieve one of my major goals - To be able to run. Admittedly, I am not the most graceful runner in the world but as we say back home in the UK "out of little acorns - mighty oaks do grow!!" It is a good start don't you think?

I hated the fact that I had so much trouble putting on my shoes. Now after a short time using bungee training  can do it again! This still takes an effort but at least I don’t have to keep asking John to help me now.

This was one of the amazing things that happened fairly early on in my training. Having been sedentary (although I did used to walk) for the past few years and being diabetic - I had noticed that the tips of my toes used to "tingle". Also the sides of my ankle were a very "angry" colour.
